Mosel.Erlebnis.Route

This route builds a connection between various culture, adventure and theme trails along the Moselle, Saar and Ruwer rivers.

Premium trail „Römerpfad“

This trail is approximately 10km long and is located between Butzweiler and Kordel. The “Römerpfad” leads you along the wildly romantic Butzerbach creek while crossing hanging bridges, ladders and wooden footbridges. On your hike, you will see ancient mining holes, an antique quarry and a Roman copper mine.

Saar-Hunsrück-Steig

The Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, located between Mettlach, Trier and Idar-Oberstein, has a lot to offer: diversified hiking paths, breathtaking panorama views, woods, hights and meadows. This 184 km long premium trail reached a total of 64 points and was ranked  number one of long distance hiking routes in Germany.

Moselhöhenweg

The Moselhöhenweg (or Moselle heights trail) is located above the Moselle river between Perl and Koblenz.

As a premium route planned according to the strict quality criteria of the German hiking seal, the Eifelsteig is in particular characterized by a diversified wide offer of natural trails through unspoilt scenery, spectacular views and a wide range of terrain. It offers kilometres of varied, natural tracks, with  a large number of bare paths, magnificent views, and a variety of different formations.
